We provide a wide range of services on-site in addition to regular office visits and checkups, including ingrown toenail removal, joint injections, sutures for minor lacerations/injuries, and abscess I&D. Do you practice integrative medicine?
We firmly believe that optimal health is a result of both prevention and treatment. Thus, we offer multiple programs, including weight reduction and acupuncture, to help our patients achieve better health holistically. Many patients in our weight reduction program have lost up to 40 lbs in 40 days! Some have even repeated our program as many as three times with superb results each session. Call us or come in for a visit to speak with a doctor about these programs.

What kind of aesthetics services do you offer?
We have a state-of-the-art Alma Laser machine that performs painless hair removal and treats brown/red spots, wrinkles, and scars. We also provide Botox and filler injections to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, and in the naso-labial area. See our TotalCare Wellness Center website for more information.
What is laser skin rejuvenation?
Laser technology uses heat from laser beams to target unwanted cells (freckles, age spots, hair follicles, wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, broken capillaries, etc.) with extraordinary precision and remove them. It is the ultimate safe, non-invasive, and highly effective anti-aging treatment. Use it to even out your skin tone or reduce the appearance of wrinkles and folds. Most of the procedures take less than 30 minutes and patients can return to work immediately afterwards. Read more about laser services here.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most types of insurance, including Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Anthem, Aetna, Healthnet, Cigna, United Healthcare, Medicare, and IEHP. We also offer affordable rates for those without insurance.
What will the cost of a visit be if I don't have insurance?
For those with no insurance or with high deductible plans, the fee is $80 for the first visit. All subsequent visits are $60 each. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and cash.
Labs and imaging
What types of lab services do you offer on-site?
Most insurance plans have a designated laboratory for lab procedures, but to maximize convenience for our patients, we also offer on-site blood draws and urinalysis. In addition, we can perform EKGs and allergy tests (skin and food). If you are visiting us for a standard glucose/lipid blood test, please make sure to fast for at least 8 hours before the visit.
How about imaging services?
We do not have X-Ray or ultrasound machines on-site, but there is an imaging center in the same building where we are located.
How long does it take to get my test results?
Most lab/imaging results arrive within 5 business days of the date of your test. Simple image requests, such as X-ray, are reported on the same day. We recommend most patients to schedule follow-up appointment within 1 to 2 weeks for the doctor to review test results and prescribe any necessary treatment. However, if we see that lab results are normal and there is no need for second visit, we will notify you to cancel the follow-up appointment.
How do I get a copy of my test results?
Most patients pick up a hard copy of their results at the follow-up visit. However, if results are normal and there is no need for a second visit, patients may also call us to get the results emailed to them.
Referrals and prescriptions
How long do I have to wait for a referral to a specialist?
We do our best to process referrals and authorizations immediately, but approval from the insurance provider may take up to 1-2 weeks. Each insurance is different and we usually recommend patients to check back with us in a week by calling. In most cases, patients will also receive an approval letter in the mail. Please note that authorizations are only valid for a certain amount of time, so we strongly recommend patients to schedule appointments with the referred provider as soon as they are approved.
Which pharmacy can I use with TotalCare?
We use an e-prescription system that connects to almost any pharmacy in the country. During your visit, we will ask for your preferred pharmacy, such as CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Target, Costco, and Grandview Pharmacy (located in our building).
How do I get refills for my prescriptions?
This will vary case-by-case, but patients who have seen our providers within the last 3 months may be able to request a prescription refill by calling our office. For safety and legal reasons, we do not provide refills of any controlled medication or substances without an office visit.
